After-Hours Care

After Hours Care

For your urgent care needs, we kindly request that you contact our office rather than visiting a walk-in clinic. As part of our commitment to your well-being, our Family Health Organization (FHO) is best equipped to provide you with prompt medical attention. We have dedicated blocks of time reserved daily for urgent medical visits, and one of our physicians is always available on-call every day of the year to address urgent appointments, ensuring that you can typically be seen by a physician on the same day.

Our on-call service operates from 5-8 pm Monday to Friday, and we offer varying 3-hour blocks on weekends and holidays (typically between 10 am to 3 pm). If you require after-hours care, please call our answering service at 905-521-4199.

To ensure the availability of after-hours care for those in need, we kindly ask that you refrain from using the after-hours service for routine or non-urgent medical issues. Your understanding and cooperation in this matter are greatly appreciated.

Additional Information:

  • If you are experiencing an emergency medical situation, please go to your nearest Hospital Emergency Room or call 911.
  • To consult a nurse for medical advice, call Telephone Health Advisory Service (1-866-553-7205) after 8PM on weekdays, plus anytime on weekends and holidays –they update us the following day.
